We just purchased our first home. We were nervous and clueless, but otherwise were not your typical first-time home buyers. 

Because of years of going to school, then 20 years in the Air Force (9 of those years in foreign countries) and a few more trying to figure out how and where to settle down after retirement, (21 different addresses we found ourselves at 50+ never having owned a home of our own. Finally it seemed time, and it took the pressure of our landlord wanting to move back into her very nice home to get us to take the leap.

Buying a home and never moving again were both frightening concepts. You don't get rich living on one income from the military. Factor in raising and sending four children to school, the incidental expenses of life, many moves, and an overseas retirement, it wasnt easy to come up with the credit history, the down payment, closing costs, and the many costs of just moving.

A relative is a real estate agent in Idaho, so we sought her advice in finding help. We wanted someone that could guide us through the biggest purchase of our life. We needed someone we could trust. We weren't going to invest, rent out, or move again in 2 years, we were looking for a place to come home to, for family to visit, and to grow old in. It needed to meet certain needs, it had to be affordable, and we wanted to like it. We talked to various people in the area and gave her several names to check out. She looked them over, talked to them, and recommended two of them. We chose from those two. The result of this was Linda O'Malley.

Finding our home took far longer than normal. Linda has been relentless but never pushy. She was easy going but always professional. She has been amazingly patient, kind and efficient. We were certainly not Linda's most important clients, yet she treated us as if we were. We wanted to remind you what a gem you have on your team and will recommend her to anyone wanting to buy or sell a home.
